김경민 작가의 작업은 언제나 유쾌함과 행복한 정서를 바탕으로 전개됩니다. 

작품 속 인물들은 특별한 맥락이나 서사 없이, 어디선가 본 듯한 표정과 몸짓으로 자연스럽게 등장합니다. 

작가는 무엇을 강하게 주장하기보다, 관람자가 편안한 마음으로 작품에 다가올 수 있는 열린 장면을 만듭니다. 

인물들의 밝은 표정과 경쾌한 동작은 누구나 한 번쯤 지어봤을 얼굴과 무심코 반복해온 일상의 몸짓을 떠올리게 합니다.

그 안에는 특정한 해석을 요구하는 이야기보다, 익숙한 감정과 자연스러운 호흡이 담겨 있습니다.

The figures in her paintings appear without a fixed narrative, emerging through familiar expressions and gestures that feel instantly recognizable.

Rather than making strong assertions, the artist creates open scenes that allow viewers to approach the work with ease.

The bright expressions and lively movements of her figures recall faces we have all made at some point, as well as everyday gestures repeated almost unconsciously. 

Within these scenes, there is no demand for a single interpretation.
