<No Way!>는 복잡해지는 생각 속에서 "안 돼"라고 말하고 싶지만, 쉽게 설명할 수 없는 마음의 순간을 담은 작품입니다. 따사로운 빛이 가득한 꽃밭 위에 두 손으로 머리를 감싼 아이는 무언가를 받아들이기 싫은 마음과 쉽게 정리되지 않는 감정 사이에서 잠시 멈춰 있습니다.

손끝에 살포시 앉은 작은 나비는 그 복잡한 순간 속으로 예고 없이 들어온 아주 작은 감정처럼, 날아가 버릴 듯 가볍고 여리지만 그렇기 때문에 오히려 쉽게 외면할 수 없는 존재입니다.

마음은 싫다고 말하면서도 한편에서는 여전히 흔들리는 순간, 박소현 작가는 단호한 말 뒤에 숨어있는 망설임과 그 안에 남아 있는 작은 여지를 이 작품에 담아냅니다. 어쩌면 이 작품이 말하는 "No"는 완전한 거절이 아니라, 완전히 밀어내지도 온전히 받아들이지도 못하는 감정의 경계선 위에 서 있는 마음의 순간에 더 가깝습니다.

<No Way!> captures a moment of emotion that resists easy explanation, when one wants to say “no” yet remains unable to fully reject what is being felt. In a flower field filled with soft light, a child covers their head with both hands, caught between the desire to refuse something and emotions that cannot easily be resolved.

A small butterfly resting gently on the child’s fingertips appears like an unexpected feeling entering this complicated moment. Light and fragile enough to disappear at any second, it is precisely this delicacy that makes it difficult to ignore.

Even while the heart insists on rejection, another part continues to hesitate. Through this scene, PARK SO HYEON captures the uncertainty hidden behind a firm response and the small emotional space that still remains. Perhaps the “No” in this work is not a complete refusal, but a moment standing somewhere between pushing something away and quietly accepting it.
