<wherever we go> 는 예측할 수 없는 여정 속에서도 서로의 존재가 하나의 방향이 되어주는 순간을 담은 작품입니다.

오리 옷을 입은 아이는 무표정한 얼굴로 서 있습니다. 어디를 향하는지, 무엇을 향해 나아가는지 드러내지 않은 채, 곁의 작은 강아지와 붉은 끈으로 연결되어 있습니다. 그 끈은 단순한 장치가 아닙니다. 위안일 수도, 책임일 수도, 말로 다 설명할 수 없는 애정이나 믿음일 수도 있는, 함께 걷게 하는 마음의 형태입니다.

우리는 늘 분명한 방향만을 가지고 살아가지는 않습니다. 때로는 불안하고 망설이면서도, 곁에 연결된 온기 하나로 낯선 길을 계속 걸어가기도 합니다. 박소현 작가는 이 작품을 통해 목적지보다 그 길을 누구와 어떤 마음으로 지나왔는가가 더 중요할 수 있음을 이야기합니다.

<wherever we go> captures a moment in which the presence of another becomes a direction within an uncertain journey.

More than a visual element, the string suggests comfort, responsibility, affection, or a kind of trust that cannot easily be explained in words, a visible form of the feeling that keeps two beings walking together.

We do not always move through life with a clear sense of direction. At times, despite anxiety and hesitation, we continue along unfamiliar paths sustained only by the warmth of being connected to someone beside us. Through this work, PARK SO HYEON suggests that what matters most may not be where we arrive, but who we walk beside and the feelings we carry along the way.
